PRIVACY POLICY FOR TIMELESS APPS, including My Bedtime Widget, Keepsake App, Just Recite

Timeless Apps, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy.

DATA COLLECTION Most of our apps do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

The exception is Just Recite. At your request, Just Recite records your Quran recitation using your device's microphone. To detect which verses you recited, each recording is sent for automated analysis by a third-party AI service (see THIRD-PARTY SERVICES below). Recording only happens when you tap record. Just Recite has no user accounts. These recordings are associated with your device only — we do not attach your name, email, or any other identifier to them. Any name you enter in the app is stored only on your device and is never transmitted.

Just Recite generates a random, anonymous device identifier the first time it runs and sends it with each analysis request. This lets us count how many devices use the app, in aggregate. The identifier is a random value — it is not your name, Apple ID, phone number, or any hardware identifier, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites.

DATA STORAGE App data—such as your preferences or settings—is stored locally on your device. Some apps may use Apple’s App Groups feature to securely share data between the main app and its widgets. This data never leaves your device.

Just Recite stores your recordings on your device. The app includes an optional Backup feature that bundles your recordings into a single file, which you can save or share to a destination you choose; we do not receive that file. Just Recite also includes an optional "page-photo accuracy check" (off by default). If you turn it on, photos you take are stored only on your device and are never transmitted.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Our apps do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Just Recite uses a third-party AI service to analyze your recitations. When you record, the audio is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to a processing endpoint we operate at api.recite.gg, which forwards it to our AI provider, OpenRouter (openrouter.ai). OpenRouter routes the request to the underlying AI model provider (currently Google's Gemini models). Our api.recite.gg endpoint does not store your audio — it only forwards the request and keeps anonymous usage counts (such as the number of requests per day). The audio is processed by these providers under their own privacy policies:

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services in any of our apps.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY Our apps do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted at this URL.
